Two-Car Entry with DUNLOP and FALKEN for the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours
Mar 5, 2026
Falken Motorsports, has announced that it will compete in the 2026 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring (Nürburgring 24-Hour Endurance Race) with a DUNLOP colored Porsche under the banner of “DUNLOP Motorsport.” The company will field a two-car lineup featuring both the DUNLOP and FALKEN brands.
As part of its strategy to enhance brand value—aimed at unifying its communication brand under “DUNLOP” and solidifying its position as a premium brand in the global market—the company will participate in the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the NLS (Nürburgring Endurance Series). By entering a Porsche 911 GT3 R adorned in its iconic livery, DUNLOP seeks to further strengthen its technological capabilities and brand value on one of the world’s most demanding circuits.
■DUNLOP Motorsport
The Porsche 911 GT3 R entered for the race will feature a new yellow and black “DUNLOP Color Design” created by the design team at Polyphony Digital, the developer of Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4, with whom we collaborated last year as the official tire partner. The car will carry the number 17, evoking legendary machines from DUNLOP’s heritage. This design, which blends tradition with cutting edge innovation, serves as a visual embodiment of our brand values.
DUNLOP positions the Nürburgring Nordschleife—one of the world’s most demanding circuits—as a crucial stage for both product development and global brand communication. By demonstrating technological excellence, uncompromising performance standards, and the strength of a global brand, we continue to advance the spirit of innovation that has defined DUNLOP since 1888.
■FALKEN Motorsports
FALKEN Motorsports, committed to “maintaining its strength,” delivered an exceptional performance in the previous NLS season, achieving five victories, four one two finishes, twelve podiums, and two pole positions—results that secured the NLS Speed Trophy title for a second consecutive year following 2024. Since 1999, the team has been a constant presence at the 24-hour race, consistently demonstrating its competitiveness, and it will continue to compete in both the 24-hour race and the NLS in 2026.
The team will again field its car in the iconic teal and blue livery, carrying the number 44, which is derived from the address of its German headquarters, symbolizing the brand’s identity and continuity. FALKEN will also maintain its collaboration with Max Kruse Racing, led by former professional football player Max Kruse, with whom the brand has secured numerous class victories on FALKEN tires.
Furthermore, FALKEN has extended its partnership agreement with the 24-hour race through 2028, and continues to strengthen its presence both competitively and as an event partner—most notably through the placement of FALKEN logos on all vehicles participating in the NLS.
■Overview of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS)
The Nürburgring Endurance Series is an eight round endurance racing championship held at Germany’s Nürburgring. Unlike the 24 hour endurance race held once a year, each NLS race lasts between four and twelve hours. Vehicle manufacturers and tire companies use the NLS as a testing ground in preparation for victory in the 24 hour race, attracting numerous top level teams.
The course used in the NLS is nearly identical to that of the 24 hour race, spanning approximately 25 kilometers per lap. With around 170 corners, an elevation change of about 300 meters, narrow track sections, and a bumpy, low grip surface, the circuit is known as one of the most demanding and unforgiving in the world.
